Why choose the Vbeam laser device?
Do more with Vbeam’s cutting-edge PDL technology
Spider veins on the legs, broken capillaries on the face and nose, vascular and pigmented* skin lesions, rosacea, and scars — Vbeam treats them all. Expand your treatment portfolio and cater to a diverse range of patients with this versatile device.
Precision and versatility
With adjustable pulse durations and a wide range of treatment spot sizes, physicians can customize treatments to address specific skin concerns. This versatility enables practitioners to meet each patient’s unique needs effectively.
Variable pulse technology advantage
Each Vbeam pulse is composed of 1-8 individual micropulses. The energy within each pulse distributes evenly, enabling dermatologists to select higher overall energies and successfully target vascular lesions with minimal purpura.
Satisfying results in fewer treatments
Not only is Vbeam’s PDL technology ideal for treating vascular lesions, the cutting-edge laser treatment also delivers excellent results for non-vascular lesions, including warts, psoriasis, hypertrophic scars, and acne scars.
Additionally, the Vbeam PDL can target pigmented lesions like sunspots, age spots, and freckles, successfully lightening or removing them. The Vbeam system stimulates collagen production as well to improve skin texture and firmness. Patients will love the revitalizing effects.
Compatibility with all skin types
Treat a wide range of patient skin tones with the Vbeam system. The integrated cryogen-based DCD cools and protects the epidermis, minimizing the risk of pigmentation concerns.
Minimal downtime for patients
In today’s busy world, patients seek aesthetic treatments with minimal downtime. The Vbeam system offers selectable wavelengths and pulse durations for successful procedures with minimal risk of side effects. Most patients notice results after one treatment.
Reduced risk of side effects
The system's advanced PDL technology in the Vbeam specifically targets oxyhemoglobin in blood vessels, leaving surrounding tissues virtually untouched. This precision leads to exceptional results with fewer side effects, making the Vbeam a trusted choice for the treatment of vascular and other cutaneous lesions.

The science behind the machine: the Vbeam pulsed-dye laser
The Vbeam PDL systems operate on the principle of selective photothermolysis, a well-established technique that precisely targets lesions without damaging surrounding tissues.

595 nm wavelength
The Vbeam Pro and Vbeam Perfecta both deliver pulsed laser energy at a 595 nm wavelength with a variable pulse duration of 1.5 to 40 milliseconds, allowing deep skin penetration to reach targeted blood vessels.9 This energy is absorbed by oxyhemoglobin to coagulate and clear vessels while minimizing melanin absorption for more tolerability.10 As the laser energy passes through the epidermal and dermal layers, its precise short pulse duration ensures heat remains confined within dilated micro-vessels, reducing the risk of damage to surrounding tissues.
1064 nm wavelength
Available only on Vbeam® Pro
The 1064 nm Nd:YAG wavelength allows you to treat deep blue veins, venous lakes, and wrinkles* with efficacy across all Fitzpatrick Skin Types.
Dynamic Cooling Device™ (DCD™) technology
Integral to the Vbeam’s success is the DCD, which emits a brief, timed spray of cryogen. The DCD provides cryogen-based epidermal protection, with the ability to deliver cooling both before and after the laser pulse for maximum flexibility and comfort.
DCD technology enhances the treatment experience by protecting the skin, ensuring greater patient comfort.
