PicoWay®
Picosecond Laser Device
Advanced picosecond laser technology for non-invasive aesthetic treatments.
Versatile Applications. Precision Power. Ultra-Short Pulse Durations.

Meet the picosecond laser device intentionally designed to work from the inside out.
Whether you treat acne scars, benign pigmented lesions, melasma*, wrinkles, or remove tattoos, the PicoWay® laser stands out for its advanced technology.
Unlike older, outdated lasers, the PicoWay laser delivers high peak power and ultra-short pulses measured in picoseconds (trillionths of a second) for a photoacoustic effect that minimizes thermal damage to surrounding tissues. This innovative technology has established the PicoWay laser as a global favorite among aesthetic providers. Patients worldwide choose the PicoWay laser to enhance and maintain healthier, more youthful skin, thanks to its advanced capabilities and results.
Why choose the PicoWay laser system?
Here is why you will love the PicoWay device:
Low to no downtime
- In brief, 15- to 20-minute treatment sessions, PicoWay Resolve and Resolve Fusion treatments transform skin while leaving the epidermis intact, for low downtime treatments that patients desire.
Photoacoustic effect
- The PicoWay laser’s photoacoustic effect minimizes the risk of skin heating and damage to surrounding tissue.
Minimize risk in patients with darker skin types
- Picosecond pulses reduce the risk of side effects, such as hypopigmentation and scarring, that can often occur with slower nanosecond pulse lasers in darker skin types.
Patient comfort
- PicoWay Resolve applicators stimulate new collagen and elastin production, treating acne scars and wrinkles in a series of quick and comfortable treatment sessions.
High rates of improvement in treated areas across clinical studies
- 94% in acne scars1,7
- 92% in wrinkles
- 96% in benign pigmented lesions

The science of picosecond laser technology
Pigmentation and Tattoo Ink
The PicoWay laser device utilizes ultra-short pulses of laser energy to target and break down pigment particles in the skin.
The PicoWay laser generates pulses in significantly shorter intervals compared to traditional lasers, to deliver precise and targeted treatments.
Tattoo pigment particles embedded within the skin readily absorb the picosecond pulses, creating a photoacoustic effect that shatters them into smaller fragments. The body then absorbs and eliminates these ink or pigmentation fragments.

Acne Scars and Wrinkles
In treatment of acne scars and wrinkles, the PicoWay laser treats beneath the top layer of skin to create tiny vacuoles (empty spaces) within the skin, formed from a process called laser induced optical breakdown (LIOB’s). These controlled thermal injuries lead to new collagen and elastin formation to improve acne scars and wrinkles.
